AerCap updates 2Q portfolio changes

AerCap said it delivered 18 aircraft and 11 engines under lease agreements during the 2Q 2010.

It added 19 aircraft and two engines to its portfolio and signed contracts for the purchase of another nine aircraft to be delivered later this year. The lessor sold five aircraft and five engines and is due to divest a further four aircraft. Its 2Q leasing deals include three new A320s for Wizz Air; one A300 for MNG Airlines; and one 737 for Air Company Yakutia. It acquired two A319s, seven A320s, two A321s and three A330s, all of which were new and were under existing commitments with Airbus. It also took two new 737s, one new A320 and two used A319s.
