Air France to stem outgoings
Air France-KLM is looking to make annual cost reductions of up to €800m ($1.1bn) on top of the €470m it has already planned to save, according to the French newspaper Les Echos.
The company will halt growth and salary increases and look for additional ways to reduce outgoings. The airline is due to acquire 100 aircraft and will announce its decision whether to go ahead with this “in [the] coming days”, the newspaper reported.
