Aircell raises $35m financing
In-flight connectivity provider Aircell has raised $35m in financing from its existing investors.
The company, responsible for the ‘Gogo’ in-flight service, said proceeds of the financing will be used to fund growth in both commercial and business aviation markets. Existing investors include Ripplewood Holdings, a major private equity group, Blumenstein/Thorne Information Partners and other investment entities associated with investor/entrepreneur Oakleigh Thorne.
