BA: first UK carrier to take delivery of 777-300ER
British Airways (BA) has taken delivery of a 777-300ER, making it the first UK airline to do so.
The British flag-carrier will add two more 777-300s by the end of this year and will receive its full order of six of the aircraft by early 2012. The 777-300ER, the world’s largest twin-jet aircraft, has a seating capacity of 300; it is thought BA’s aircraft is fitted with 297 seats.
