BNDES to back Brazilian privatisation
Brazil's national development bank, BNDES, will provide up to 70 per cent of airport investment financing as the country’s airports are privatised, according to local news reports.
Lending up to $7.5bn at lower rates than private banks, BNDES will target the privatisations of Guarulhos and Viracopos in Sao Paulo state and Brasilia airport.
